Medicine Hat and Southern Alberta
The news team at CHAT—TV in Medicine Hat is responsible for covering the majority of the Southeast portion of Alberta for Pattison Media. It’s a huge responsibility but our team has always been up for the challenge. Agriculture is huge in this part of the country and it brings its own challenges for reporters covering this segment of the economy. But mining, manufacturing, transportation and retail services are growing rapidly. The CHAT news team is committed to bringing our viewers up to speed every night on all these important industries. We are committed to accurate, in-depth reporting to help our viewers stay on top of everything happening in southeastern Alberta.
Kamloops & the Thompson Okanagan
Much of the rich history of British Columbia makes its’ way through the South-Central Interior. For the talented and award-winning CFJC-TV news team, this history is melded with the new history being made every day. CFJC-TV takes pride in bringing these stories to its viewers from the Cariboo Gold trails to the edge of the Rockies to the shores of the mighty Fraser River. Our team of talented journalists brings viewers up to date on the latest developments every weeknight on the CFJC-TV Evening News. All major roadways, both of our cross-Canada railways and both major airlines run through Kamloops, all providing unique challenges for coverage. The treacherous Coquihalla Highway, wildfires and floods and the seeds of Truth and Reconciliation are all prominent in our daily lives. And CFJC-TV is excited to be able to bring those stories to our viewers in the B.C. Interior.
